Our Story
Welcome to Cascade Beadworks LLC — where creativity meets the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
I'm the maker behind the beads — a lifelong educator and passionate bead artist. By day, I teach middle school, and by evening and weekend, I dive into the joyful world of beadwork. For nearly 30 years, I've had the honor of nurturing curiosity and creativity in my students, and for the past decade, I’ve found a similar spark in crafting hand-made beadwork jewelry.
What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion. I began gathering beads the way others might collect seashells or stones — each one a tiny treasure, full of potential. Over the years, I've shared my creations with family and friends, and now I’m thrilled to share them with you.
Cascade Beadworks was born from my love of beading and the place I call home. Nestled in the shadow of the majestic Cascade Mountains, surrounded by evergreen forests, rocky coastal beaches, and crystal-clear lakes and rivers, I find endless inspiration in the natural beauty around me.
Each piece I create — whether it's a necklace, bracelet, pair of earrings, lanyard, or keychain — is crafted with care, using high-quality beads and findings sourced from local craft stores and vendors. I thoughtfully curate every element to bring out the unique beauty of each design.
As an educator at heart, I also want to pass along the joy of beading to others. That’s why Cascade Beadworks isn’t just about finished jewelry — it’s about sharing the craft. I'm developing bead kits and tutorials designed to spark creativity, teach new skills, and inspire others to find the same joy in beadwork that I’ve found.
